Australian success at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, France

11 February 2004

Two Australian films have received major awards at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, the world's most prestigious showcase of short films, held annually in France.

The International Competition's Special Jury Prize went to Deluge directed by Flordeliz Bonifacio and produced by Samantha Jennings.

The Lab Competition's Audience Award went to the AFC-funded short film We have Decided Not to Die directed by Daniel Askill and produced by Chris Seeto.

The Clermont-Ferrand International Festival International Competition presents films from around the world, while the Lab Competition screens the most up-to-date creative endeavours in short film.
