INDUSTRY ALERT: International Financing Forum - Call for applications

The Ontario Media Development Corporation in partnership with Toronto International Film FestivalĀ® and with UK Trade and Investment are running the second International Financing Forum on September 10, 2007.

Launched in 2006, the IFF Is a one-day co-financing market, developed to provide Canadian and international feature film producers with the opportunity to establish relationships with potential financing and co-production partners, sales agents, distributors and executive producers. The day will be made up of one-on-one meetings with producer delegates and industry guests, networking events and information sessions.

IFF 2006's international guests included: William Morris Independent (USA), Voltage Pictures (USA), Silverwood Films (USA), Miramax (USA), Groundswell (USA), Endeavor Talent Agency (USA), Participant Films (USA), Spice Factory (UK), Zephyr (UK),Wide Management (France), Kinowelt (Germany), FILMAX (Spain), Bavaria Film (Germany), the BBC (UK).

Eligibility
Eligible applicants must have at a minimum, one producer credit on a theatrically released feature, and 1-2 market oriented co-productions in development. Only English language projects will be considered for selection.

The deadline for applications 5:00 pm, July 30 with selected producers notified by August 24.

The IFF do not cover any travel or accommodation costs. Successful applicants may be eligible to apply for an AFC travel grant if AFC criteria is met - applicants should discuss with Info Officer, Marketing to discuss; 02 9321 6435.
