The Content 360 International Pitching Competition, held at MIPTV featuring MILIA in Cannes, France, is a forum where content creators can pitch cross-platform content ideas to international broadcast representatives and commissioners.
For the first time ever, the BBC Categories in the Content 360 Pitching Competition are open to applications from Australian participants. The BBC has five separate categories:
- Teenage Drama & Entertainment
- Cross-Platform Documentary
- Children's Content
- On-Demand Participation
- Localness on bbc.co.uk
Please note: Australian projects invited to participate in 2007 in any of the BBC categories are not eligible to win monetary prizes. However the benefit of the pitching spotlight and feedback from the BBC panel about your project could enhance your time at MILIA, plus you will have access to the Content 360 pavilion and networking/social functions. As in previous years, all other categories are open to Australian practitioners, and those invited to participate in open categories are eligible to win prizes.
To view all competition categories and to submit your application visit the MIPTV website.
Practitioners whose projects are selected to participate in the Content 360 International Pitching Competition will be eligible to apply to the AFC Travel Grant program to attend the event.
