INDUSTRY ALERT: Travel Grants for Hong Kong FILMART and MIPTV featuring MILIA and MIPDOC

The AFC is offering travel grants for producers travelling to two upcoming international markets:
Hong Kong FILMART, 20-23 March 2007 and
MIPTV featuring MILIA and MIPDOC, 16-20 April 2007


Grants available are Type B for market-experienced producers and Type C for producers developing market experience. To be eligible to apply, producers must have previous producer credits and at least one feature film in development at a market-ready stage. Producers applying for a travel grant to MIPTV or MILIA can apply for up to $5000 towards their travel expenses, and $3000 if they are applying for a travel grant to Hong Kong FILMART.

Producers looking to attend MILIA specifically with digital, interactive cross-platform content can apply for the Type E travel grant. Type E travel grant details can be found under AFC Funding - Travel Grants - Type E.

The Australian Film Commission will host a stand at both events, which attending Australians can utilise.

The travel grant application form and guidelines are available to download from AFC Funding - Travel Grants.
The deadline for applications for both markets is: Thursday 1 February 2007.
