Women Working in Television Publications

For the past seven years the AFC has supported the Women Working in Television project, which aims to provide opportunities for women across Australian television to advance their careers.

Undertaken by the AFC in partnership with the Nine Network, the Seven Network, Network Ten, ABC, SBS, Free TV Australia, the Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) and SPAA the project has concentrated on increasing opportunities for networking. The project has a national focus, and recent group networking lunches have concentrated on the topics of mentoring, networking, career management, leadership and balancing work and family.

The project also produces information booklets which are provided free to women and men working in television through the networks and are also available to download below:


Tuned Into Leadership - women and television
2004
Containing practical advice and stories from leaders and aspiring leaders across the country, this booklet aims to provide you with the tools to develop your own unique leadership style.
