Digital Salon meetings - last Tuesday of the month in Sydney

AIMIA media release

Digital Salon meets at Metro Screen on the last Tuesday of every month. At the Salon you will find a place to network, discuss works in progress, skill share and produce new projects.

Digital Salon is inviting all digital media artists working or experimenting with interactive media, VJing, non linear filmmaking, DVD, electronic music, projection arts or whatever to take part in the Digital Salon.

The idea has been to create a community of digital media producers in the same way that our Members Production Group caters for filmmakers. Digital Salon is designed to provide similar access to the initiatives provided for in the MPG in ways that are meaningful and appropriate for digital media practitioners.

Digital Salon came to life Tuesday 25 March 2003. AIMIA provides a subsidy grant for Digital Salon that will give you access to the facilities and equipment you may need to complete your projects or develop professionally.

To express your interest in the Digital Salon, email: m.cooper@metroscreen.org.au

The Digital Salon Group will be allocated a subsidy benefit to utilise Metro Screen equipment outside of the monthly meetings for initiating new projects.

Next subsidy round - Tuesday 7 June - 2004
