Berlinale Co-Production Market - call for entries

Taking place on February 10 - 12, 2008, as part of the 58th Berlin International Film Festival, is the fifth Berlinale Co-Production Market.

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is a three-day event designed for producers, financiers, world sales agents, distributors, broadcasting and funding representatives who are actively seeking and participating in international co-productions.

Since the first edition of the Berlinale Co-Production Market in 2004, a total of 51 projects have gone into production.

The deadline for project submissions is November 1, 2007.

The producer or company applying must have completed at least one international co-production; have a feature length, fiction film script intended for co-production and have at least 30% of finance already in place.

Submission form and detailed guidelines for project submission entry are available for download at www.berlinale.de.

Producer or producer/director teams that are successful in applying are eligible to apply for an AFC Type D - Pitching Travel Grant.

Producers who wish to participate in the Berlinale Co-Production Market with a project can contact Sonja Heinen and the team of the Berlinale Co-Production Market for more information.
