Anna Broinowski's documentary Helen's War (2004), a portrait of anti-nuclear firebrand Dr Helen Caldicott, won an Australian Film Institute Award for Best Direction, a Chris Award at Columbus Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the Dendy Awards, Sydney Film Festival. The film sold to Sundance Channel USA, played theatrically in Australia and the USA and screened at Banff and in the British/Australian Film Festival. Sally Regan graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (1992). Awarded the Kenneth Myer Fellowship, she went on to produce in Australia, Europe, Asia and America. She won the Australian Film Commission Distinctly Australian Script Editing Award (1997) and was Business Affairs Manager of Documentary Production at Film Australia (1999-2003). Her producing credits include The Colour of War (2004) featuring Russell Crowe, National Treasures (2004), Korean Anzac (2004), Peter Berner's Loaded Brush (2005), The Road to Tokyo (2005) and the award-winning Nerves of Steel (2006).
